Beoir Chorcha Dhuibhne
More than four generations of same family have lived here at Tiġ Bhric in An Riasc, on the Dingle Peninsula in West Kerry, and for over 100 years we have welcomed locals and visitors to our pub.
Our Experience
Tour the brewhouse and enjoy a tasting in the pub afterwards, or take a technical tour where you get to pick the brains of one of the brewers. Alternatively, (or if mobility is an issue), relax in the pub and taste some beers while viewing a video of the beermaking process.

Our Location
We might be a little biased, but we like to think we live in one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland, and we’re definitely the most south-westerly brewery in Europe! You’ll find us in An Riasc, a small town land just 1.5km from Ballyferriter village and 11km north-west of Dingle town along the Slea Head Drive, one of Ireland’s most scenic routes, and part of the world famous Wild Atlantic Way. An Riasc is probably best known for the monastic site, which is a 10-minute walk from us here in Tiġ Bhric.
Excavated by archaeologists in the 1970s, it contains the remains of a church, some round houses, a possible burial shrine and several cross-inscribed stones. It’s believed the site was occupied as early as the 6th century. Artefacts found in the excavation can be seen in Músaem Chorcha Dhuibhne, in Ballyferriter.
THE TEAM
Our People
The brewery was the original conception of Adrienne Heslin, who was the first woman microbrewer in Ireland and created the first microbrewery in County Kerry. The brewery now comprises small team from various backgrounds, with one common goal: to produce and package quality beers from an ancient land with thousands of years of history, concentrating on the unparalleled characteristics of our beers which are brewed with our own house strain of fresh yeast, solidifying their identity.
BEOIR CHORCA DHUIBHNE
Our Beer Range
Beoir Chorca Dhuibhne/West Kerry Brewery is an ale brew house, which means we brew with a top fermenting ale yeast, a traditional approach to brewing beer. Our Cask Conditioned beers are naturally carbonated by the yeast and sugars in the beer, and are dispensed by hand pump here in our pub Tig Bhric.
All our beers are inspired and influenced by the landscape and people that surround us here. From our language to our traditions, our water to our plants and herbs, the essence of this place is in every drop of beer we brew.
